Join the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce and the Concord Coalition to End Homelessness for a keynote presentation and panel discussion examining the impact of housing affordability on workers, families, employers, and communities across New Hampshire.

Our October Monthly Forum will feature Brian Goldstone, journalist, anthropologist, and author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning There Is No Place for Us: Working and Homeless in America, an "exceptional feat of reporting" (The New York Times) which exposes the dramatic rise of the "working homeless" in cities across America.

Following the keynote, a panel of New Hampshire leaders will discuss how housing affordability affects workforce participation, economic mobility, business growth, community vitality, and human dignity in New Hampshire and the Capital Region. This event promises to bring together business leaders, policymakers, community members, and housing and economic development professionals to better understand New Hampshire's housing challenges and what they mean for our workforce and our economy.

Jessica Williams, Senior Policy Analyst, New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute
Tara Reardon, State Senator, State of New Hampshire

Read the Book Before the Forum!
Attendees are encouraged to purchase and read There Is No Place for Us: Working and Homeless in America ahead of the event. From now through October 15, 10% of all book sales will be contributed back to the Concord Coalition to End Homelessness. Purchasing the book early is a great way to support the organization while preparing for an engaging conversation with the author. Books will also be for sale at the event and Brian will be available afterward for signings.
