Who we are: Offering individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions by appointment both in person and remote. The office has NH and Maine licensed clinical mental health counselors, and a registered art therapist that utilizes the creative process to help individuals explore their emotional, psychological, and social challenges to improve overall wellbeing. Some insurance plans are accepted. Ages 6 to adult.

Capital Art Therapy LLC employs the primary modality of art therapy with traditional talk therapy to facilitate healing and growth. Through guided artistic expression, clients are encouraged to explore and communicate their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Art Therapy provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals to engage in self-discovery and self-expression. In addition to therapy, Capital Art Therapy LLC offers unique small setting opportunities for creative engagement. Private parties with groups of up to 10 people can enjoy a variety of artistic experiences with a trained artist. Future activities planned are; guided paint nights, crocheting for beginners, spinning wool, collage and memory book making, printmaking, and jewelry making.

Susan is a registered art therapist, a licensed clinical mental health counselor in New Hampshire, a Licensed professional counselor in Maine, and a K-12 Certified Art Teacher in New Hampshire. Specialties include cognitive behavior therapy, trauma, informed practices, dream analysis, and treating ADHD, anxiety and depression.
