Our Member Celebration & Annual Meeting will take place on September 14, 2024, from 10am-4pm. at our McLane Center in Concord. All are welcome to register for this mini nature festival, which will include a choice of outdoor activity planned for all levels of physical ability, a presentation of our MOTUS program in which we use nanotagging to learn more about wildlife movement patterns, lunch by Tidewater Catering, and our Keynote Speaker, Shoals Marine Lab Director Sara Morris. Sara Morris will present about her time spent on Appledore Island, the many species she has encountered there, and what has been learned so far about bird migration.
