In celebration of Women’s History Month, CCMS voice students (and maybe others) will perform music written by women composers spanning the 19th century to the present. From art song and musical theatre to contemporary pop, this concert honors the creativity, resilience, and enduring influence of women in music, shining a light on both celebrated and historically overlooked composers. Featured composers include Clara Schumann, Augusta Holmès, Carrie Jacobs-Bond, Liza Lehmann, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Sara Bareilles, and Marsha Norman and more! Come hear what you’ve been missing! This event will be held in our historic Recital Hall. It is free and open to the public. No tickets or pre-registration are required. Donations are appreciated.
