Canterbury Singers Open Sing

Description
Calling all prospective Canterbury Singers! This ensemble, led by Kathy Southworth, presents authentic Shaker music, arrangements of American folk songs, music of early America, and inspired arrangements by a variety of composers, often in partnership with Canterbury Shaker Village. It’s one of the very few non-auditioned, high quality professionally directed choral experiences for mixed voices (men and women blended ensemble) in the Capital Area. Rehearsals take place Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 8:15pm. This Open Sing is free and open to the public. (While no audition is required, there is a fee to participate in Canterbury Singers on a regular basis after the Open Sing.)
