CCMS welcomes the James Fernando Trio back on March 21, 2026 to headline our annual Jazz Night Fundraiser, with proceeds benefiting our Financial Aid Fund. Held in our Recital Hall with table seating, this evening features one of today’s most exciting jazz groups: the James Fernando Trio. Fernando is a Philadelphia-based pianist whose career includes international performances, collaborations with GRAMMY Award–winning artists, and five acclaimed albums. Drawing inspiration from legends like Duke Ellington, Oscar Peterson, and Thelonious Monk, the trio performs with irresistible rhythm and genuine joy. If you enjoyed their lively Bach’s Lunch appearance at CCMS in October 2024, you’ll love this evening of inventive improvisation, fresh takes on jazz standards, and standout original music.
