Introducing Northern Night - a W.C. Gallery Installation by Arthur Anderson. Northern Night is about honoring the infinite beauty and unparalleled majesty of the night sky. The installation invites viewers to gaze upward and reflect on those who looked up to the same sky. Anderson hopes the installation will remind us of our smallness and fragility, highlighting the miraculous beauty of the universe within the grand scheme. The Northern Night Installation will be showcased at the New Hampshire Art Association from June 5th to August 25th. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 11 am to 5 pm, Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm, and Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm. Anderson’s combination of mural and hanging pieces creates an intimate and immersive nocturnal experience, giving viewers a space to contemplate their personal connection to the night sky. Anderson is a Concord, New Hampshire-based artist who uses art to explore the world around him. He received an Associate’s Degree in Visual Arts from New Hampshire Technical Institute and a Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration from the Institute of Art and Design At New England College. He creates pieces that explore the beauty in everyday life and the simple inspiration that comes from the world around us. His illustrations use color, texture, and intuition to develop organic shapes into fleshed-out characters, often containing pieces of Anderson’s own personality and experiences. He feels his journey as an artist is only beginning and looks forward to what lies ahead.
