Join the Poetry Society of New Hampshire from 4:30-6pm for an afternoon of verse! Their headliner this month is author and poet Holley M Hill. An open mic follows her reading. Newcomers are welcomed and encouraged! Bring your favorite poem to read, or something you’ve been working on, or come with appreciative ears to listen.
Holley M. Hill is a poet and artist who was born and raised in the wild woods of New England. In 2012, Holley earned a dual masters in education and library science, and since then has worked as a teacher, librarian and technologist. She has published two hybrid works of poetry; memoirs titled, There is Only Lampyridae (Cosmographia Books) and Whiskey Stop Motion (Finishing Line Press). In addition, she has created and sold numerous photographs featuring New England landscapes and mixed media collages inspired by nature. Holley currently lives with her daughter, Alyza, in New Hampshire and the two enjoy hiking, writing and creating art together.
