2024 Moving Together Conversations: Immigrants in New Hampshire's Workforce

Presented by NH Songa, this impactful one-day conference will discuss the importance of embracing, integrating, and celebrating the vital partnership between immigrant workers and the labor market in our state.
This statewide conference aims to connect business leaders with effective tools to support New Hampshire’s diverse immigrant community in the workforce. Professionals from all industries and levels are invited to attend this day-long conference, expand their knowledge of barriers facing local immigrant communities, gain understanding of challenges facing New Americans who are entering the state’s workforce, and develop solutions for inclusive initiatives.
This year's conference will expand upon what we know about NH's immigrant workforce, which accounts for $154 million in annual revenues, and offer solution-focused sessions focused on practical challenges facing immigrants and their employers. The conference includes networking, an information speaking program, and three breakout session options that feature industry experts:
• Education for New Americans, including training certifications and language learning.
• Challenges facing newly settled immigrants, including childcare, housing challenges, and transportation.
• Expanding human resources procedures and inclusivity on site
Who should attend?
Moving Together will convene and engage with CEOs, human resource staff, employers, service providers, academic institutions, non-profit organization leaders, staffing agencies, ethnic-based organizations, immigrants, state and municipality officials.
