Brian Goldstone Luncheon Forum 2026
Thursday, October 15, 2026 (5:30 PM - 7:00 PM) (EDT)
Description
Working, Priced Out, and Left Behind: The Housing Crisis and New Hampshire’s Workforce
Join the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce for an important conversation about the growing housing challenges facing New Hampshire’s workforce and the impact they have on businesses, families, and communities.
Our October Monthly Forum will feature keynote speaker Brian Goldstone, author of There Is No Place for Us: Working and Homeless in America. Goldstone’s book follows families who work, contribute, and do everything society asks of them, yet still struggle to maintain stable housing.
Following the keynote, Brian will be joined by a panel of New Hampshire leaders for a discussion exploring how housing affordability affects workforce participation, economic mobility, business growth, community vitality, and human dignity. Panelists will include representatives from the New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute, NH Housing, state government, and the NH Department of Health & Human Services. This discussion will bring together business leaders, policymakers, community members, and housing and economic development professionals to better understand New Hampshire’s housing challenges and what they mean for our workforce and economy.
Read the Book Before the Event!
Attendees are encouraged to purchase and read There Is No Place for Us: Working and Homeless in America ahead of the event.
