Workplace Inclusivity Workshop - Foundational Concepts

Tuesday, October 15, 2024 (2:30 PM - 4:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with NH Listens, invites you to join a three-part learning series designed to enhance workplace dynamics. Each session focuses on a distinct theme—personal and social identity, navigating tough conversations, and sustaining inclusive practices. Participants will gain valuable insights into how identity impacts leadership, develop skills to manage complex discussions and learn strategies to foster a resilient and inclusive workplace culture. Please note: It is not necessary to attend all 3 sessions but we welcome you to register for as many as you would like based on your availability and interest.

Session 1 on October 15: This session will delve into the foundational concepts of personal and social identity, focusing on how race, ethnicity, and implicit bias shape our interactions and decisions in the workplace. You'll explore how these aspects influence your role as a community leader and your relationships with colleagues and customers. By understanding these dynamics, you'll be better equipped to foster a more inclusive and empathetic work environment.
