Experienced Alarm Technician

Responsibilities:
- Install, program, and maintain alarm systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Conduct system design and layout to meet customer requirements
- Perform field service and troubleshooting on alarm systems
- Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with NEC and other relevant codes
- Test and diagnose electrical issues related to alarm systems
- Use power tools, hand tools, and low voltage equipment to complete installations and repairs
- Collaborate with customers to educate them on system operation and maintenance
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Alarm Technician or similar role
- Proficient in the installation and programming of alarm systems
- Knowledge of fire sprinkler fitting and construction inspection is a plus
- Familiarity with electrical systems and low voltage wiring
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve system issues
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
