Part Time Event Staff

Pours & Petals Is looking for driven individuals to fill part-time event serving roles. This role is perfect for those who already have a full or part-time job and are looking to pick up extra shifts on the weekends.

Gigs will be May-October.

Pours & Petals is a Concord, NH-based boutique event company specializing in creating extraordinary experiences through beverage and farm-to-table-inspired food catering. Our diverse offerings also include floral arrangements, planning, design, and decor rentals. We boast a unique touch with our renovated 1960 camper turned mobile bar/commercial kitchen, which has captivated clients.

Our team is passionate about crafting fully immersive catering experiences. Every event is meticulously planned with a focus on intention, innovation, and delivering unforgettable, unconventional elements.

We cater services to various private events such as weddings, showers, and corporate events, where clients often choose to enhance their experience with additional services. Additionally, we participate in public events, attending local happenings with the Pours & Petals trailer, offering beverages and florals for sale.

Pours & Petals has proudly served reputable businesses, including Pure Barre, Mejuri, Anthropologie, the United States White House, Keller Williams Realty, and numerous local businesses. We have also been featured in the press, including on the cover of NH Weddings Magazine and NH Chronicle.

ROLES DUTIES:

On-site Event Support:
- Set up and dismantle event spaces
- Serve food and beverages at private and public events
- Anticipate and proactively address client/guest needs
-Troubleshoot issues as they arise

- Assemble orders accurately and efficiently

- Operate POS and provide cash change

- Provide exemplary guest service

- Maintain a clean space

Optional Bartending Position:
- Set up and dismantle bar area

- Serve beverages and/or food to guests
- Provide exemplary guest service at all times
- Assemble beverage orders efficiently and accurately
- Ensure guest safety by checking IDs and monitoring consumption
- Maintain a clean bar space

SCHEDULE: Event staff will be given the opportunity to bid on shifts that align with their schedule.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong time-management abilities
- Capability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for the service/events industry
- Positive attitude
- Proactive approach to solo projects while being an effective team player

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work on weekends
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel throughout NH or northeastern MA on event days
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Access to a smartphone
- Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions
