Staff Accountant
Responsibilities
· Daily deposits, and bank reconciliations
· Accounts Payable: The Lawson Group/Trusts
o Matching Invoices with backup
o Entering Payables
o Preparing Checkrun weekly
· Accounts Receivable: Trusts
o Send out monthly premium invoices
o Collection calls for Premium/Terminations (15th)
· Accounts Receivable: The Lawson Group
o Daily billing
o Collection calls/send monthly statements
· Monthly Supply Orders
· Send out monthly Commission Statements/Checks
· Reconcile Credit Cards monthly
· Assist with Annual Policy Renewals/BuyBacks
· Assist with and/or perform other tasks, as required
Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or a minimum of three - five years related experience
· Proven ability to work with employees, vendors, brokers and other related parties
· Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
· Ability to maintain high level of detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· In depth knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel
