Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Employees Recognized by the Bank’s Chairman of the Board and Senior Executive Team for Extraordinary Leadership

Bar Harbor, Maine – Seven Bar Harbor Bank & Trust employees were recently recognized by the Bank’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, David Woodside, and the Bank’s Senior Executive Team at the annual Chairman’s Dinner and Celebration, held May 19 in Bar Harbor, Maine. The event honors employees who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership in helping the Bank achieve its strategic goals and deliver positive outcomes for customers.


The Chairman’s Award, which is the event’s highest honor, was presented to Jennifer Seekins, Senior Vice President Treasury Service Sales, and Elizabeth Smith, Senior Vice President, Managed Asset Group Manager. The winners are selected by the Chairman of the Board of Directors in recognition of their consistent display of the Bank’s brand behaviors, strategic thinking, perseverance through challenges, ability to motivate, and several other factors.

Jennifer joined the Bank in 2019 and leads the Treasury Services Group in providing commercial banking customers with cash management and merchant services solutions. She is located in Waterville, Maine. Elizabeth has been with the Bank for 13 years and is a key contributor to the Bank’s risk mitigation efforts. She is located in Peterborough, New Hampshire.


The Emerging Leader Award was presented to five high-performing employees who demonstrate strong leadership skills and significant potential for growth in the organization. The recipients of the 2023 Emerging Leader Award are:


  • Morgan Forni, Branch Relationship Manager of the Bank’s location in Southwest Harbor, Maine. She joined the Bank in 2016.
  • Sean McIntyre, Vice President, Regional Relationship Manager for the Upper Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont. He joined the Bank in 2020 and is located in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
  • Colleen Paquette, Assistant Vice President, Branch Relationship Manager for the Bank’s locations in Andover, Bradford, and Newbury, New Hampshire. She joined the Bank in 2014.
  • Crystal Richards, Vice President, Regional Relationship Manager for Downeast Maine. She joined the Bank in 2021 and is located in Ellsworth, Maine.
  • Beckie Thibodeau, Assistant Vice President Human Resources Operations Manager. She joined the Bank in 2019 and is located in Waterville, Maine.
