Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Presents Brand Behavior Award to Twelve Employees for Exemplifying Bank’s Core Values

Bar Harbor, Maine –Twelve Bar Harbor Bank & Trust employees were recently presented with the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Brand Behavior Award for demonstrating behavior that exemplifies the Bank’s core values of communication, initiative, positivity, professionalism, quality, and teamwork. These values guide the actions of all Bank employees and set the expectation for customers.


Employees are nominated for the award by their peers, and the winners are selected by an anonymous committee comprised of employees. The awards are presented twice a year.


The Brand Behavior Award Winners for H1 2023 are:


Amy Foskett and Lacee Lounder are the recipients of the Communication Award, which recognizes employees who share the right information clearly and quickly to build great relationships. Foskett, Senior Commercial Servicing Specialist, has been with the Bank for 18 years and works in Ellsworth, Maine. Lounder, Customer Service Specialist, joined the Bank in 2023 and works in the Customer Service Center in Newport, New Hampshire.


Kim DeSchuiteneer and Brittani Nash are the recipients of the Initiative Award, which recognizes employees who continually work to improve the customer experience and team development. DeSchuiteneer, Senior Vice President Retirement Plan Coordinator, joined the Bank’s subsidiary Bar Harbor Wealth Management in 2020 and works in Concord, New Hampshire. Nash, Mortgage Production Specialist, joined the Bank in 2019 and works in Newport, New Hampshire.


Mynor Aldana and Sam Calfy are the recipients of the Positivity Award, which recognizes employees who create a rewarding and exciting place to work. Aldana, Vice President Customer Service Center Team Lead, has been with the Bank since 2018 and works in Newport, New Hampshire. Calfy, Assistant Branch Manager, joined the Bank in 2021 and works in the Hanover, New Hampshire, office.


Susan Albee and Susan Ordway are the recipients of the Professionalism Award, which recognizes employees who treat others with care and respect. Albee, Vice President Branch Relationship Manager, has been with the Bank for 20 years and works in the Machias, Maine, office. Ordway, Assistant Vice President Treasury Services Portfolio Manager, joined the Bank in 2022 and is based in New Hampshire.


Shane Klardie and Joanne Ryan are the recipients of the Quality Award, which recognizes employees who ensure the Bank adheres to the highest quality standards. Klardie, Vice President Branch Relationship Manager, joined the Bank in 2019 and works in the Milford, New Hampshire, office. Ryan, Customer Service Representative, has been with the Bank for ten years and works in the Nashua, New Hampshire, office.

 

Tina Brown and Cristy Harding are the recipients of the Teamwork Award, which recognizes employees who build great teams to make positive things happen. Brown, Vice President Business Development Officer, has been with the Bank for five years and works in the Milford, New Hampshire, office. Harding, Assistant Branch Manager, has been with the Bank for 17 years and works in the Brandon, Vermont, office.
