Capital Region Food Program is Honored with the 19th Annual Pinnacle Nonprofit Business of the Year Award by Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce

The Capital Region Food Program (CRFP) is proud to announce that it has been presented with the 19th Annual Pinnacle Nonprofit Business of the Year Award by the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce (GCCC). This prestigious award recognizes CRFP's outstanding contributions to the community and its devotion to combating hunger in central New Hampshire.

"This is an incredible achievement and true testament to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, partners and contributors," said Elena Alois, CRFP Chair. "I have seen the impact of this organization throughout my life, and we are so grateful for the continued support from the community in helping us reduce hunger in the Greater Concord Area."

This award honors an exemplary nonprofit organization each year that demonstrates innovation in carrying out its mission. CRFP's selection as the 2024 recipient underscores the impact of its flagship projects. The Holiday Project distributed over 2,250 meal vouchers feeding roughly 7,000 individuals this past season. For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, the Year Round Distribution Project provided over $100,000 worth of supplemental to food pantries, social service agencies and soup kitchens to better assist client needs.

“What truly sets CRFP apart is their spirit of resilience, compassion, and innovation as an all-volunteer-run organization that embodies the true spirit of community and service” said Ari Pollack, GCCC Chair. “From their humble beginnings to their ongoing efforts to combat food insecurity, we celebrate CRFP’s outstanding contributions to our community, their unwavering dedication to reducing hunger, and their commitment to creating a brighter future for all.”

CRFP would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce for this recognition as it continues its vital work.
