Devine Millimet Welcomes Attorneys Zaharias and Adams
Devine Millimet Attorneys at Law was pleased to welcome two new attorneys to their firm in early July. Attorneys Stephen Zaharias and Jeffrey Adams are both highly successful lawyers and bring a combined 30 years of legal experience, which makes them amazing additions to the Devine Millimet team of professionals.
Steve stated “Of course, my goal in every case, regardless of its complexity, is to obtain the desired result for the client, but I strive to accomplish this in a quick and efficient manner, while also helping to guard against similar issues in the future. The hope is that, with my help, the client’s legal problems can be resolved as painlessly as possible."
Attorney Adams is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School and has been named Chair of our Financial Services Litigation Practice Group. Primarily, Adams handles consumer financial services litigation, where he represents banks, mortgage lenders, mortgage loan servicers, and automotive finance companies in individual plaintiff lawsuits and appeals in federal and state courts.
When asked, Jeff said, “As a litigator, it’s important to assess a matter early on to determine whether there is the potential to minimize the dispute and resolve the case without prolonged and costly litigation. However, recognizing that early case resolution is not always possible, I am experienced and prepared to litigate the case fully.” Occasionally, he will represent individuals in divorce and related family matters, where he works with clients on issues related to the division of marital estate assets, alimony, child support, and parenting.
