Granite United Way Opens First Cycle of the Opioid Abatement Community Grants Program
STATEWIDE, NH - Granite United Way (GUW) has opened the first cycle of the Opioid Abatement Community Grants Program (OACGP). Organizations statewide can now begin the application process for OACGP Responsive Grants. Responsive Grants are funding opportunities up to $15,000 designed to address immediate, community identified needs related to the opioid epidemic. These grants provide flexible support for short-term projects that align with the OACGP strategic priorities and deliver timely, impactful outcomes.
The first step is to register for the Request for Qualification (RFQ), which serves as a notice of intent to apply. During this phase, prospective applicants must create an organizational profile in GUW’s online portal and upload basic initial documents for review. This RFQ must be completed by October 12, 2025 to confirm eligibility and receive access to the formal grant application.
"GUW is proud to launch this grant program in partnership with the State of NH and the Opioid Abatement Commission.”, says Nichole Reimer, President & CEO. “We are committed to ensuring it is both widely accessible and responsive to the critical needs of New Hampshire communities."
