NBT Bank Promotes Adam Johnston to Regional Commercial Banking Manager

Manchester, NH – (May 20, 2025) — NBT Bank has promoted Adam Johnston to Regional Commercial Banking Manager based in Manchester, NH.

In his new role, Johnston is responsible for leading a team of commercial bankers, managing the regional commercial lending portfolio and supporting the development and implementation of NBT’s commercial lending strategies.

“Adam’s promotion into this expanded role is well-earned,” said Justin Jennings, New Hampshire Regional President for NBT Bank. “His experience supporting commercial clients and managing loan process and portfolios has made him a valuable resource to the NBT organization and our customers. We are glad to have an individual with his background on our team to take on greater responsibility as we continue to build customer relationships throughout New Hampshire.”

Johnston joined NBT in 2024 with more than 20 years of banking experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from University of Massachusetts – Lowell. He was named to the New Hampshire Union Leader’s 40 Under 40 class of 2015.

Active in his community, Johnston has volunteered his time as a member of the board at Making Community Connections Charter School, New Hampshire CIBOR Cares, Greater Manchester Habitat for Humanity and the Palace Theatre.
