“We are so excited to open in Concord. This location marks our second Raising Cane's in the great State of New Hampshire and we're looking forward to serving our Craveable Chicken Finger Meals to even more people,” said Area Leader Julie Dyer. “We're thrilled to be partnering with the Community here as part of our rapid growth throughout New England and can't wait to continue for years to come!”
Raising Cane’s was founded on August 28, 1996, when owner and founder Todd Graves opened the first Restaurant, bringing his Chicken Finger dream to life. The road there wasn’t easy — Graves’ college business plan earned the lowest grade in class, and banks repeatedly turned him down. Determined, he worked 90-hour weeks as a boilermaker in California, then spent a season commercial fishing in Alaska to fund his vision. Originally planning to call it “Sockeye’s,” Graves instead named the Restaurant after his beloved yellow Labrador, Raising Cane. On opening night, he waved Customers in from the street, keeping the doors open until 3:30 a.m. Today, nearly 30 years later, Raising Cane’s is still serving the same menu that made the Brand famous and has grown its presence to more than 950 Restaurants across 40+ states with plans to open about 100 new Restaurants this year.
The Restaurant opening next month will be an all-out celebration as Raising Cane’s will bring the party by offering 20 lucky Customers Free Cane’s for a Year, hosting Community givebacks and more. As part of Raising Cane’s commitment to the Communities it serves, the new Restaurant will engage with local schools, sports teams and non-profit organizations through fundraising opportunities and sponsorships. The new Raising Cane's will be open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to midnight with extended hours Friday and Saturday from 10 to 1 a.m., perfect for late-night Chicken Finger enthusiasts.
